David Moyes will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his central defensive ranks this summer. And Bilic will be too.
Vida is vastly experienced, and might be a decent option for both the Hammers and the Baggies.
The 31-year-old centre-back is also a shock target for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, according to Yeni Asir.
Vida is well-renowned for being a tenacious , tough-tackling defender.
In 22 league outings for Besiktas this season, the 79-capped Croatia international has averaged one tackle, 1.5 interceptions, 2.2 clearances and 0.8 blocks per game. He has also won an average of two aerial duals per game. (Who Scored).
Vida has averaged 54.4 passes per game this season in the league, with an impressive completion rate of 90.6% (Who Scored).
The tenacious 79-capped Croatian international loves defending, and he has mastered the art of man-marking.
£6 million seems like decent value for Vida. But at 31, it could be argued that he might struggle to adapt to the ferocious pace of the English game.
The Besiktas ace might just be worth a punt for David Moyes and Slaven Bilic, however.
Either West Ham or West Brom could get their hands on a real bargain this summer. It just remains to be seen whether the Hammers or the Baggies are prepared to take the risk on signing a 31-year-old who is completely unproven in the English game.
