According to a report from the Telegraph, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to allow alleged West Ham target Danny Rose to leave the club on the cheap this summer.

Hammers boss David Moyes absolutely has to sign an established left-back this summer.

And ExWHUemployee claimed last month that Spurs ace Danny Rose could be a target for the Scot.

Aaron Cresswell has regressed badly over the past two years. And Arthur Masuaku is clearly more effective when deployed further forward.

So Tottenham left-back Rose would be a welcome addition at the London Stadium. That’s in spite of the fact that at 30, he doesn’t fit into the age profile of players Moyes has suggested that he wants to sign this summer.

Could Rose swap north London for east London?

The Telegraph reckon that Mourinho could sell the left-back on the cheap with just one year remaining on his current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And Rose, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Newcastle, is allegedly ready to move away from north London in order to secure more regular first-team action ahead of next years Euros.

The 30-year-old, who earns £60k-a-week at Spurs (Spotrac), has enjoyed a great Premier League career.

In 194 top flight appearances, Rose has racked up 445 tackles with a 78% success rate, 310 interceptions, 431 clearances and 39 blocked shots (premierleague.com).

The Tottenham ace would clearly be a massive upgrade on Aaron Cresswell. And any West Ham fan who thinks Rose wouldn’t be a great signing for us is surely kidding themselves.

If we could pick him up for a bargain fee, it really is a no-brainer.
