According to a report from Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web, West Ham boss David Moyes is keen to sign Atalanta ace Robin Gosens this summer.

The Hammers boss absolutely must bring a new left-back to the London Stadium this summer. Aaron Cresswell has been shocking over the past six months, whilst Arthur Masuaku clearly isn’t good enough to be playing regularly for West Ham.
Moyes will have to sell before he can buy this summer (Claret and Hugh). If the 57-year-old manages to move on some of the Hammers’ more expensive flops, however, he should have plenty to play with in the market.
And Tutto Mercato Web claims that Atalanta star Robin Gosens is a target for West Ham, although they could face competition from the likes of Leicester City and Chelsea for the 26-year-old’s signature.
Stats
The German has been in scintillating form for Atalanta this season, with 10 goals and eight assists to his name in 39 outings at left-back (Transfermarkt).
Gosens is an attacking full-back in every sense, and he would be an ideal fit for the frenetically paced Premier League.
TMW claims that the 26-year-old could be available for around £22-27 million.
Whether West Ham can afford that kind of money for a left-back remains to be seen.
But Moyes should be really pushing the owners to make this one happen. Gosens would be a stunning signing for the Hammers.
