Alleged West Ham target Hirving Lozano has been sent home from training, according to ESPN, with Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso apparently fuming with the Mexican international’s work-rate.

According to a report from Italian publication Area Napoli, Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Napoli ace to the London Stadium this summer.
West Ham must be looking to add some more attacking options to their ranks this summer.
Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko have both been linked with exits from east London (Claret and Hugh).
If either the Brazilian or the Ukrainian do end up leaving the Hammers, Lozano would seemingly be the ideal replacement.
Or would he?
ESPN claims that the 24-year-old’s work ethic has been called into question. Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso allegedly kicked the Mexican out of the first team training setup yesterday.
Lozano hasn’t enjoyed a very successful season with the Serie A outfit either.
He has racked up just three goals and two assists in 25 outings so far this season (Transfermarkt).
The Mexican is more than capable of producing the goods consistently at the very highest level, however. He proved that during his time with PSV Eindhoven.
The 24-year-old winger racked up 40 goals and 23 assists in 79 appearances to his name for the Eredivisie outfit (Transfermarkt).
Price-tag makes Hammers switch unlikely
Lozano will not be sold for anything less than €50 million (£45 million), according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
West Ham will simply have no chance of paying that kind of fee for one player this summer. So if they are going to get their hands on the Napoli ace, the Italian outfit will have to drastically drop that asking price.
After ESPN’s report today, however, would the Hammers actually want Lozano? Possibly not.
