The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on loan until the end of the season from Manchester United last week.
And Lingard has made an exceptional start to life in East London.
The 24-capped England international has two goals to his name in two games for West Ham.

And signing him is already looking like an inspired piece of business by David Moyes.
Many Hammers fans questioned the wisdom behind bringing Lingard to the London Stadium last month when we were crying out for a new striker.
Paul Merson shares what he heard about Jesse Lingard before he joined West Ham
The 28-year-old has silenced all of his doubters already. And he has only played two games for the Hammers!
Paul Merson suggested that Lingard was always going to be a great addition for West Ham due to his extensive experience of playing and training with top class players, when speaking on Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer Saturday programme this afternoon (Saturday February 6th, 12:38):

“I thought Lingard was a shrewd bit of business. You don’t play for Man United for that long if you can’t play. He’s been training with top drawer players at Man United, it’s not as if he’s been sitting there doing nothing. He’s training with top players week in week out and I’ve heard off people saying ‘Lingard’s doing well, he’s bang unlucky not to be getting a chance at the moment at United’.”
It is clear to see that Lingard kept himself very fit whilst he wasn’t playing for Manchester United.
The Man United-owned ace has had plenty of problems off the pitch over the past 12 months or so.
The 28-year-old always had the quality. There were questions marks as to whether he would ever rediscover his best form, however.
Jesse Lingard has answered them emphatically. Let’s hope the England international keeps up his superb start to life with West Ham. And if he does just that, hopefully we will be able to sign him permanently in the summer.
