Pablo Fornals was absolutely brilliant for West Ham against Brentford this afternoon.
The 25-year-old has really started to find his feet for the Hammers since the turn of the year.
The Spaniard struggled to adapt to Premier League football straight away after making his £25 million move from Villarreal in the summer of 2019.
Fornals is now starting to show everyone what he’s really capable of, however.
What a performance he put in today against Brentford.
Sure, it was a pre-season friendly against a team that has just got promoted to the Premier League.
Still though, the former Villarreal ace was quite simply sensational.
Pablo Fornals impresses for West Ham
The 25-year-old was quite literally everywhere. He popped up in the number 10 position, on both wings and even in the deep-lying midfield position.
Fornals possesses exceptional movement and is incredibly intelligent.
He is an exceptionally hard worker as well so it’s clear to see why Moyes likes him.
The Spaniard could very well play a key role for West Ham this season. It’s great to have a player who can play so comfortably in multiple positions.
The 25-year-old’s display against Brentford proved that and his scintillating performance should have the Hammers fans very excited.
