Michail Antonio posted a video to his Instagram account yesterday showing the West Ham players celebrating in the dressing room after beating Leeds 2-1 at Elland Road.

The Hammers were absolutely superb against Leeds in the second-half.

It was a completely different story from the first-half where we looked leggy and second best to everything Leeds did.

Credit to David Moyes and his staff. The Scot has instilled a certain kind of belief, winning mentality and never-say-die attitude into his players at the London Stadium since taking over for the second time way back in December 2019.

And there was a real glimpse of that togetherness inside the Hammers dressing room yesterday.

The Hammers players were buoyant after the final whistle, celebrating exuberantly with the travelling fans…and rightly so.

They weren’t just celebrating on the pitch either.

 

Antonio posted this brilliant video to his Instagram account last night:

It really does seem like this group of lads have something very special about them.

Yes we are a brilliant team from a technical perspective and we are tactically sound.

There is definitely an extra element present amongst this West Ham team that has often been missing in recent times, however – heart, spirit, courage and attitude.

And with those four things, it will be hard for West Ham to go too far wrong this season.
