The Spurs hitman is arguably the best orthodox centre-forward in world football right now.

Kane, 27, has scored 198 goals in 297 games for Tottenham (Transfermarkt). The English hitman has always been known as a lethal and ruthless striker. Sometimes selfish, but lethal all the same.

But it seems as though he has slightly changed his game this season.

The 48-capped England international is dropping deeper and linking up play more. Kane has become just as much a creator as he is a goalscorer.

The 27-year-old’s record of eight assists in six Premier League games for Spurs this term (Transfermarkt) proves that.

And West Ham ace Michail Antonio highlighted how Kane has surprised him this season somewhat, when speaking on the ITV’s Football Show podcast:

“Yes, I am not going to lie. I am quite surprised because with Harry Kane. When you see him growing up throughout his career, you see him at the end of everything. You could even say that he was slightly greedy. He gets in front of goal and he’s shooting. No matter what. Now to see him being the assist man, I think he has got six assists or something crazy, I am surprised by it. He’s putting it in. Feeding beautiful balls in. So, he is coming on unbelievably.”

It would have been hard to see where Kane could have improved last season. But his performances for Tottenham this season show that he has done exactly that.

He has still scored 10 goals in 10 games for the north London outfit. Yet he is the league’s top assist maker as well.

It appears as though the Spurs man really does have everything.

And that seemingly hasn’t gone unnoticed over at West Ham.
