According to a report from the Star, Sheffield United will listen to offers for alleged West Ham target John Lundstram in January.

The Star claimed in September that Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bring the 26-year-old Blades ace to the London Stadium from Bramall Lane.

And with Lunstram’s current contract with Sheffield United set to expire in the summer, Chris Wilder could be willing to let him leave for a bargain fee.

This may well interest West Ham boss David Moyes.

We desperately need to bolster our central midfield ranks either in January or next summer. And Sheffield United man John Lundstram could very well be the ideal addition for the Hammers.

Stats

Lundstram joined Sheffield United in the summer of 2017 from Oxford United. And he has gone on to be a real hit for Chris Wilder at Bramall Lane.

The 26-year-old played a key role for the Blades last season, racking up five goals and three assists in 34 Premier League games (Transfermarkt).

Lundstram has played all six games for Sheffield United this term, and has put in a real shift each and every time.

He is an incredibly hard working midfielder, and would fit right in at West Ham.

The opportunity to pick him up for a bargain fee will undoubtedly appeal to the Hammers.

And the 26-year-old Sheffield United player would be a very wise addition to our setup in January.
