Mesaque Dju has finally found a new club after disastrous West Ham spell and in my opinion, it’s about time.
The 23-year-old forward joined the Hammers from Portuguese giants Benfica way back in January 2019.

The young Portuguese attacker arrived at the London Stadium under the weight of big expectations. He was a really talented young player with a big reputation.
Unfortunately for Dju though, he spent most of his time at West Ham on the treatment table.
He obviously never hit the heights that were expected of him in east London, after Manuel Pellegrini brought him to the club.
Dju’s time at the London Stadium was defined by numerous injuries and poor performances.
He was subsequently released in the summer, unsurprisingly so. And it appears as though he will now be plying his trade in a new country…
Mesaque Dju finds new club after West Ham exit
The 23-year-old attacker has joined Greek side OFI Crete FC, as officially confirmed by the club:
Perhaps Dju has found his level.
His unsuccessful spell with West Ham was another stark reminder of the disastrous player recruitment by Manuel Pellegrini and Mario Husillos during their spells at the London Stadium.
Mesaque Dju did struggle with injuries but he clearly wasn’t good enough for West Ham.
In fairness, he didn’t really impress for the Hammers’ youth teams either, with just four goals and one assist to his name in 29 outings (Transfermarkt).
Hopefully he goes on to enjoy a successful time in Greece with OFI Crete FC.
Mesaque Dju just wasn’t good enough for West Ham. But we wish him well in his future endeavours.
