But Noble now looks set to get the farewell in front of fans that he deserves when they – and he – returns next season.
That’s after it emerged this morning he has signed a new one-year deal with the club (The Athletic).
It means Noble will now get a proper send off with football supporters expected to return to stadiums in full capacity next season.

The news will come as a welcome boost to Moyes who has always wanted to keep Noble around the club due to his huge influence in the dressing room.
West Ham are expected to announce Noble’s new deal imminently.
