Mark Noble has shared what he told David Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady after being appointed as West Ham United’s new Sporting Director.
Noble is a hugely popular figure at the London Stadium.
He made his debut for the Hammers way back in 2004 and made only 18 appearances for other clubs during loan spells in 2005 and 2006 with Ipswich Town and Hull City respectively.
Stepping into his new role will be a huge challenge for Noble, however.
It’s something that he hasn’t done before, but one thing we can be sure of is that he will approach it with dedication, passion and 100% commitment.
Mark Noble shares what’s expected of him as West Ham Sporting Director
West Ham legend Mark Noble knows the club inside out.
Whether he has the eye for the talent needed to take us to another level is an entirely different matter.
Noble is very clear on what he needs to do though. He spoke to West Ham’s official Twitter account after being named as the club’s new Sporting Director:
We’ve made massive strides over the past couple of years, with the players that we’ve kept, and I think it’s so important. When I spoke to Karen, David and DS, I said we needed to carry that on and try to take the club forward, and that’s what they’ve asked me to do.
We’d love nothing more than to see Mark Noble succeed in his role as Sporting Director.
It will be an incredibly challenging role for him but with his willingness to learn and understanding of the club, he has every chance to be a big hit.
Come on Mark, we’re all behind you.
