Manchester United scraped a 1-0 win over Burnley in midweek but West Ham will find it easier against one their bogey sides.
Hope for West Ham over target Moyes ‘loves’ as Athletic makes claim
That’s according to BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson.
West Ham fans have a turbulent relationship with Lawro.

Lawro’s turbulent relationship with West Ham
During West Ham’s record breaking 2015/16 season – when they amassed their best ever Premier League points total – Lawrenson famously sided against the east Londoners week after week.
So much so the final standings based on his predictions would have seen West Ham relegated with just 32 points.
The reality was West Ham finished seventh with 62 points, just four points off a Champions League spot.
This season – West Ham’s best for 22 years since they finished fifth – has been more of the same from Lawro.
According to his predictions, David Moyes’s side would have just 17 points and a -8 goal difference.

Pundit bucks the trend and backs Hammers to go one better than league leaders
Well he has bucked the trend this week by backing West Ham to beat one of their bogey side’s of recent years, Burnley.
West Ham have lost their last three games against Burnley and four of the last five.
Sean Dyche’s side put on a solid display against league leaders Manchester United in midweek and were unfortunate to lose 1-0.
But Lawro told BBC Sport West Ham are ‘playing well’ and will go one better than the Red Devils with a 2-0 victory at the London Stadium on Saturday.
“As ever, Burnley were extremely competitive against Manchester United on Tuesday and it took a moment of high quality from Paul Pogba to beat them,” Lawrenson said on BBC Sport.

‘They should pick up the three points’
“The Clarets don’t change, and they will make things difficult for West Ham on Saturday too but they have been short of goals on the road with just four in eight league games so far this season.
“I don’t see them creating much here, either. West Ham have been playing well and they should pick up three points.”
Burnley will very much be a litmus test of where Moyes’s side are at.
Back-to-back victories over struggling Burnley and West Brom sides will catapult West Ham right into European contention.
Bar a game against Liverpool, West Ham have a promising fixture list – on paper at least – in January and February.
