Lucas Paqueta will surely return for the West Ham vs Crystal Palace clash at the London Stadium this afternoon.
The Hammers desperately need a win against Palace this afternoon, and we could actually climb back inside the top 10 with three points.
The Eagles will be no pushover though, with Patrick Vieira having assembled a strong group of players over the past year or so.
If West Ham are to get the victory, David Moyes will need to have all of his best players available to him.
One of them is Lucas Paqueta. The Hammers have been without the Brazilian for three weeks now after he injured his shoulder during our draw with Southampton.
And Paqueta is seemingly now back and ready to go…
Lucas Paqueta ready for West Ham vs Crystal Palace
The 25-year-old play-maker has been badly missed during his absence, especially by Gianluca Scamacca who has had little service over the past three weeks.
Paqueta just makes us tick really doesn’t he. And having him slotted in behind Scamacca just makes us so much more dangerous.
The Brazilian took to his Instragram account last night to declare his fitness ahead of today’s huge clash with Crystal Palace:
“I’m back and I’m ready.”
How good is that to hear!
If West Ham are to push for a top seven spot in the Premier League table this season, we need Paqueta to remain fit for the remainder of the campaign.
We also need him to be on his very best form.
Wins against Crystal Palace and Leicester would put the Hammers in a decent position heading into the World Cup break.
It would be great if Moyes’s men won the game today but we would also love the players to put in a really exciting performance.
We just haven’t seen enough of those this season.
And having Lucas Paqueta back for the game against Crystal Palace is a truly massive boost for West Ham.
With the Brazilian back fit, we’re going for a 2-1 win. COYI X
