Leicester Déjà vu on the horizon for West Ham as the pressure on David Moyes begins to really crank up.
The Hammers put in an absolutely woeful performance against Crystal Palace at the London Stadium yesterday afternoon.
The 2-1 defeat leaves us just two points clear of the relegation places with only one Premier League game remaining before the World Cup.
That game comes against Leicester next weekend at the London Stadium. Nothing less than a win will do, if West Ham are to have any chance whatsoever of finishing inside the top seven this season.
Moyes needs to make some drastic changes for that game. If he doesn’t, the writing will be on the wall in my opinion. In fact, if we’re all being honest, it very much already is…

Hammers fans might remember our 2-1 home defeat to Leicester City back in December 2019.
It was a shocking performance from the players on the night and it ended a run of just two wins in our previous 13 games.
The result left us in the relegation zone, and as a result, Manuel Pellegrini lost his job.
The Chilean was ultimately sacked because of his stubbornness regarding Roberto and his refusal to drop the stand-in goalkeeper until a few games before his eventual sacking.
There are stark similarities with David Moyes’s current situation at West Ham.
The Scot is reluctant to make the changes that the Hammers are crying out for. Why is Tomas Soucek still starting? Why does he continue to treat Said Benrahma so badly? Why is Alphonse Areola warming the bench? Why isn’t Moyes setting up his team to get the best out of Gianluca Scamacca?
All of these questions are nothing new…the West Ham fans have been asking them for months and months.
Time may well be running out for Moyes. And coincidentally, the match that he has to try and save his job is the same one that caused Pellegrini to lose his three years ago.
Leicester Déjà vu is on the horizon for West Ham, and Moyes’s future will hinge heavily on the outcome of that game.
