Keenan Appiah-Forson may well have a role in the West Ham senior team lined up when Premier League football resumes later this month.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder has been absolutely brilliant for the Hammers under-21s over the past couple of years.
And he is clearly one of a handful of youth players coming through the ranks at the London Stadium who David Moyes has earmarked for promotion to the senior squad.
Appiah-Forson has 27 minutes competitive action for the senior team to his name already, and I believe that he will go on to play plenty of games for Moyes’s side between now and the end of the season.

He is allegedly loved by his fellow players, Moyes and the coaching staff at West Ham.
Now could be the time for the London-born starlet to really step up…
Keenan Appiah-Forson features prominently in West Ham training
The 21-year-old may well be ready to take the step up to the next level for the Hammers.
He featured prominently in the training video posted to West Ham’s official YouTube account on Saturday:
The young Londoner has bags and bags of energy, impressive technique and is an extremely good passer of the football.
He is still very raw and slightly rough around the edges, but I think he could develop into a real star for us.
Standing at just 5ft 7 in tall, he is obviously very small. That may well hold him back in the Premier League.
Having said that N’Golo Kante is the same height and look how good he has been for Leicester and Chelsea throughout his time in England.
I think that Keenan Appiah-Forson could be a star of the future for West Ham.
And he might just end up saving David Moyes millions in the transfer market.
