RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi has claimed that Chelsea have entered talks to sign Brentford winger Said Benrahma. So West Ham will now have their work cut-out if they are to bring the 24-year-old to the London Stadium.

Foot Mercato claimed last week that the Hammers could move for the Brentford star.
And reliable insider ExWHUemployee confirmed those claims are true. He suggested that the winger is of ‘particular interest’ to the east London club at the moment.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be keen to sign a new attacker this summer.
Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko have both been linked with exits from the club (Claret and Hugh).
Surely the same cannot be said for Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, however.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are putting the final touches on the impending signing of Timo Werner.
The west London outfit have already signed Hakim Ziyech as well.
Not content with that, Lampard also wants to bring Kai Havertz to Stamford Bridge this summer (Telegraph).
If Chelsea do sign Werner and Havertz, the chances of Benrahma playing regularly under Lampard will be slim to none.
Christian Pulisic, Willian and Mason Mount will be fighting for one of the attacking slots as well.
So the Algerian ace would surely be better off joining West Ham. At least playing for the Hammers for two or three years and proving that he has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.
The problem for David Moyes will be Benrahma’s alleged £36 million asking price (La Gazette du Fennec).
Chelsea will obviously be able to afford that fee with no problem whatsoever.
And the Algeria international could be well worth that kind of fee.
The Algeria international has been absolutely on fire for the Bees this season. He has racked up 10 goals and eight assists in 34 Championship appearances for the west London outfit (Transfermarkt).
In those outings, the Benrahma has averaged 3.7 shots, 2.2 key passes and 3.1 dribbles per game (Who Scored).
Chelsea appear to be in the driving seat for the Brentford star. But if West Ham have any kind of ambition whatsoever, they simply can’t let their London rivals have a free run at the winger.
A move to east London might actually suit the 24-year-old more at this stage of his career.
