The Villa ace, 25, has often been seen as an antagonistic villain in the eyes of the Hammers fans.
The England international’s tendency to throw himself to ground too easily has often incensed the London Stadium faithful.
He has two goals and two assists to his name in five appearances against West Ham as well (Transfermarkt).

It seems as though Grealish is beginning to win at least some Hammers fans over, however.
Jack Grealish at the double as West Ham fans see a different side to Aston Villa ace
The Villa star has endeared himself to the Hammers fans twice in the last few days.
Firstly, Grealish posted a tweet in support of Tomas Soucek’s ridiculous red-card against Fulham on Saturday.
And some West Ham fans responded:
Grealish deserves credit for lending to his support to Soucek given the fact that Aston Villa are in direct competition with us for a top six spot.
The 25-year-old went up in the West Ham fans’ estimations even further still last night, however.
He took to Instagram to praise Declan Rice, saying ‘what a player’, in reference to the 22-year-old Hammers ace.

West Ham fans obviously loved Grealish’s praise of their favourite and best player.
The relationship between the Aston Villa star and the Hammers fans was shaky. That’s putting it politely!
Perhaps things are starting to change. Only time will tell whether the improved relationship is short lived, however.
