According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Ham will make a move to sign Bournemouth striker Josh King once they have secured the signature of Said Benrahma. And some Hammers fans have reacted on Twitter to the speculation.

The summer transfer window began with the east London outfit in desperate need of a new left-back, a new right-back and a new centre-back.

David Moyes has brought Vladimir Coufal and Craig Dawson to the London Stadium.

And due to West Ham’s new 5-4-1/3-4-3 formation, our need for a new left-back is nowhere near as pressing.

As such, it seems as though Moyes’s attention has switched to bolstering his attacking options.

The Daily Mail claims that the Hammers are inching ever closer to getting a deal for Said Benrahma over the line.

And it is suggested that once the Algerian is confirmed as a West Ham player, Moyes will then focus on signing Bournemouth hitman Josh King.

If that comes off, West Ham would be a really potent attacking force. Our lack of quality and strength in depth at the back is another matter of course.
