West Ham were unlucky to lose against Sevilla in the Europa League last night and Pablo Fornals was full of praise for the thousands of travelling fans who made the trip out to Spain.
David Moyes would have been delighted with the manner in which his Hammers side went toe-to-toe with Sevilla at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium last night.

The one thing that would have frustrated the Scot and the fans, however, was the West Ham players’ profligacy in front of goal.
West Ham’s wastefulness in front of goal is becoming a really common theme now and it is something that must be addressed as soon as possible if we are to succeed this season.

Hopefully Moyes and the players address that on the training pitch between now and the second-leg at the London Stadium next Thursday.
One thing’s for sure…there will be 60,000 West Ham fans supporting the team and pushing the players on during every passage of play.
Pablo Fornals praises West Ham fans after Sevilla defeat
The Hammers faithful had around 3,000 tickets for the clash with Sevilla at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium last night.
There were probably closer to 10,000 of us in southern Spain though. There was trouble on the streets on the eve of last night’s clash but as has been widely reported, the Eintracht Frankfurt fans were the protagonists.
And there didn’t seem to be any problems inside the stadium. The West Ham fans supported the team throughout the 90 minutes and didn’t stop singing.
Pablo Fornals spoke to reporters after the match and used one word in particular to describe the West Ham traveling support, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Playing here in front of all of these West Ham fans was unbelievable and how they supported us for the 90 minutes, I can’t wait to see how they’re going to do it at our home!”
Fornals is right, unbelievable is a great word to describe the Hammers fans.
We follow our team and support the players up and down the country week in, week out, regardless of how well we are doing as a club.
It just so happens that we are actually pretty good at the moment! That’s all thanks to David Moyes. The Scot is the main reason why we have knockout European football in March.
Let’s hope the London Stadium is bouncing next Thursday and the boys produce a memorable performance. And a win by two goals or more will mean that we are guaranteed European football in April!
What a season this has been so far and it could get even better next week. COYI X
