Graeme Souness absolutely raved about West Ham ace Michail Antonio when speaking to Sky Sports during today’s win over Wolves.
The 31-year-old was absolutely on fire at the start of the season but he has gone really cold over the past few months.

In fairness, his numbers on the whole have still be fairly impressive for the Hammers this season.
Antonio has bagged nine goals and nine assists in 30 games for West Ham since the start of the season (Transfermarkt).

And when he is on his game, he is absolutely unplayable. There are Premier League centre-backs up and down the country who will attest to that.
The West Ham striker hasn’t been anywhere near as good as he can be since the end of last year really.
Micky seemed to be back to somewhere near his best today against Wolves though…
Graeme Souness praises West Ham ace’s display against Wolves
Antonio acted as a real focal point for us against Wolves this afternoon.
He was a constant menace for the Wolves defenders and he did not stop running for the entire game. He notched up an assist as well for Tomas Soucek to poke home the match-winning goal.
Souness admitted that he has been really impressed with Antonio, when speaking to Sky Sports (Sunday February 27th, 1:32pm):

“He’s positive. He takes responsibility. It’s the hardest place to play. I like him. It’s only a matter of time before he gets back to scoring goals. He’s retained the hunger throughout his career. There’s a lot to like about this boy.”
The challenge for Antonio now will be to start scoring consistently again.
The 31-year-old certainly has the ability and hopefully this afternoon’s performance will give him a much-needed confidence boost for the run-in between now and the end of the season.
A fully fit and firing Michail Antonio is a frightening prospect for opposing defenders. And let’s just hope that we see the best of the powerful front-man between now and the end of the season.
