Gary Lineker reacted on Twitter after West Ham United beat Wolves 3-2 at Molineux tonight and he absolutely raved about Jesse Lingard.

West Ham took the lead early on through a superb solo goal from Jesse Lingard.

The Hammers then made it two after Arthur Masuaku set up Pablo Fornals to delicately stroke home after some fine work from Lingard down the left hand side.

Incredibly, it was three in the 38th minute after Jarrod Bowen tucked home neatly from a Lingard through ball.

Leander Dendoncker pulled one back for Wolves just before the break to make it 3-1 to West Ham at half-time.

Fabio Silva then made it 3-2 after 68 minutes.

Having squandered a three-goal lead last time out against Arsenal, the West Ham players and fans would have been thinking that history was repeating itself.

It really was an absolute belter of a game. One that not many people predicted beforehand.

Wolves pushed and pushed trying to find an equaliser.

West Ham held out in the end though and earned a massive three points. Amazingly, we now sit in fourth place in the Premier League table.
