West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has revealed fresh takeover talk emerging yesterday is legitimate.

‘Sullivan has declared war on West Ham fans’ Hammers supporters rage

YouTube star and West Ham fan Spencer Owen hosted an anonymous guest dubbed ‘the secret agent’ on his live stream yesterday.

And the mystery man claimed West Ham will ‘100% be under new ownership by the end of the year’.

It is the latest in a long line of West Ham takeover speculation over the past year.

The Hammers have been linked with takeovers by the likes of Red Bull and the Saudi group who were trying to purchase Newcastle United (Claret & Hugh, The Daily Mail, The Daily Star).

‘Secret agent’ makes ‘100%’ West Ham takeover claim

The secret agent claimed they remain interested in taking the club off the hands of hugely unpopular duo David Sullivan and David Gold.

“I will be amazed if West Ham United is not under new ownership by the end of this year,” the secret agent claimed.

“I’m not going to say by the end of this transfer window because things as you know take a long time. But the end of this year there’ll be new owners sitting in the boardroom at West Ham United, I think 100%.

“And you know I rarely ever chuck in 100%. But Sullivan and Gold, mostly driven by Sullivan, want to sell the club and that’s the way it’s going.

“There’s been offers, that haven’t quite met, by various international consortiums… even heads of state have bid on the club. A few that have been not so successful with other Premier League clubs have also been sniffing around.

“There’s a strong desire to sell and the desire is for this to be wrapped up this year so they can walk away and let someone else take over West Ham United, that’s going to be pushed through over the next few months.”

Hammers supporters sceptical but insider confirms interest

The speculation caused a stir among West Ham fans yesterday, who were furious with Sullivan and Gold after it emerged the Hammers have accepted a bid from West Bromwich Albion for Grady Diangana (Sky Sports, Claret & Hugh).

But the legitimacy of the takeover claims were instantly called into question by sceptical supporters.

Understandable after so many false dawns.

When Hammers fans want answers they often turn to reliable insider ExWHUemployee.

And he took to The West Ham Way podcast last night to reveal there IS truth in the takeover interest.

Ex says two US consortiums and a group of Qatari businessmen want West Ham. But Ex also urged caution, questioning whether Sullivan would get the price he wants for the club.

Two US consortiums and group of Qatari businessmen want West Ham – ExWHUemployee

“None of these bids have actually officially happened,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way podcast on September 2nd 2020.

“However I’ve reported interest before, there’s definitely been an interest from a couple of American consortiums there’s definitely been interest from a group of Qatari businessmen.

There’s definitely been interest. However there has been no bid formally submitted. David Sullivan would be very reluctant, I believe he is not interested in selling the club before 2023. If he did sell it before then it would be for a large figure, a figure I have heard, and a figure that in my opinion is too high for the valuation of West Ham.

“It is felt the ground could be officially handed to us by then (2023). I wouldn’t get hopes up on a bid soon. I do believe the figure is too high particularly at this current time as well. They are looking for investors… they would welcome that.

“However I cannot speak with 100% certainty on these things because I am not David Sullivan.”
