Trusted West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that Grady Diangana’s sale to West Brom could fund a swoop for Said Benrahma this summer.

The Telegraph claimed yesterday that the Hammers have accepted an £18 million bid from the Baggies for the 22-year-old.
ExWHUemployee then confirmed those claims, although he did suggest that the fee will be closer to £20 million.
When the news broke yesterday, West Ham fans went mental. One of our very best youngsters is close to being sold.
It seems as though David Sullivan is doing things just to spite us now.
The only way that selling Diangana would be acceptable whatsoever is if we bring in some top quality players.
And ExWHUemployee reckons that is exactly what could happen. The Hammers insider claimed that a move for Benrahma could be on the cards this summer, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday, September 2nd):
“They will then probably use that money to buy, or at least offer for Brentford winger Benrahma. He’s a Will Salthouse player – I’ll put that in there.”
That is all well and good.
But it must be remembered that we desperately need a left-back, a centre-back and a centre-forward.
Surely David Moyes should be prioritising adding those three players to his ranks at the London Stadium.
If we do end up selling Diangana, what on earth is the point in bringing in a like for like winger?
West Ham fans are very angry at the moment. And rightly so.
Let’s just hope that David Sullivan and David Gold have a surprise or two up their sleeve. Because if they don’t, the football club could very well be on the cusp of anarchy.
