ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham will be looking to sign Brentford duo Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, Queens Park Rangers starlet Eberechi Eze and Wigan Athletic left-back Antonee Robinson this summer.

Moyes names the West Ham star he thinks lots of clubs will try to sign this summer

The West Ham insider explained how David Moyes will be approaching this summer’s transfer window, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Thursday, July 2nd):

“Are we going to sell some of the dross and use some of that money to buy? The plan is to shift as much as we can and then reinvest it into players who have potential as players. They like Eze of QPR, a couple of players at Brentford – Watkins and Benrahma, we’ve looked at them. A left-back from Wigan called Robinson. so it’s players like that who we will be looking at.”

Hammers boss David Moyes will surely be looking to bolster his midfield, left-back and attacking options at the London Stadium this summer.

So it would be no surprise if the four players mentioned are indeed on West Ham’s radar.

Big summer ahead?

Watkins, Benrahma, Eze and Robinson have all been standout performers in the Championship this season for their respective clubs.

The Brentford duo have racked up 34 goals and 12 assists between them in 77 combined league games for the Bees (Transfermarkt).

Eze, meanwhile, has chalked up 12 goals and eight assists in 40 Championship games for QPR (Transfermarkt).

And finally, Robinson has avergaed 2.3 tackles, 1.9 interceptions and 2.9 clearances in 32 league games for Wigan this term (Who Scored).

All four players mentioned are 24 and under. They have great potential. And they certainly fit the mould of the signings David Moyes will be looking to make this summer.

Obviously West Ham need to shift some deadwood first, however, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of signing all four players at the end of the season.

And most Hammers fans would be very happy if any of those names rocked up at the London Stadium this summer.
