When speaking to reporters today, David Moyes suggested that he is sure that plenty of clubs will want to sign West Ham ace Declan Rice this summer, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The 21-year-old has undoubtedly been the Hammers’ best and most consistent player over the past two seasons.
He is head and shoulders above everyone else at the London Stadium.
And Moyes will surely be desperate to keep the seven-capped England international in east London for the foreseeable future.
Rice has been linked with some massive clubs already, however.
According to a report from the Independent, Manchester United want to sign the £80 million rated West Ham starlet.
And the Daily Mirror claims that Chelsea want him too.
Potential bidding war for Hammers ace
Moyes told reporters today that he thinks plenty of clubs will be in for Rice this summer, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“Dec could arguably be my best centre-half and best midfield player. It’s amazing how much he has come on and improved over the years. We know what he can bring in midfield and in defence. It’s a great thing for him to have the ability to play in both positions. I think he’ll be wanted by people anyway. I want him to be a West Ham player for a long time, and nothing is crossing my mind about that not being the possibility.”
Rice has made 101 appearances for the Hammers, racking up two goals and three assists in the process (Transfermarkt).
In 90 Premier League appearances for West Ham, the seven-capped England international has racked up 222 tackles, 141 interceptions, 167 clearances and 613 ball recoveries (premierleague.com).
The 21-year-old is clearly a vitally important player for the Hammers. It could even be argued that he is priceless.
Let’s just hope that West Ham refuse to be bullied in the transfer market this summer.
The more pressing concern, however, will be Rice wanting to leave. And in truth, nobody could blame him if that’s what he decided to do this summer.
