West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that there is somewhat of a rift at board level amidst continued takeover rumours.

The Guardian claimed earlier this week that a US based consortium had a £350 million bid for the Hammers rejected. They then suggested that a £400 million bid was made, and rejected again.
ExWHUemployee poured cold water on those claims, however, suggesting that there has been no concrete bids for West Ham.
David Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady have received heavy criticism from the Hammers fans recently.
Many West Ham fans are desperate for the much-maligned co-owners to sell up. The general consensus is that we will not make progress as a football club until they are gone.
And ExWHUemployee claimed that differing opinions at board level has caused somewhat of a rift, when speaking on the West Ham Way poodcast last night (Wednesday September 16th):
“The board are frustrated. I think there is a rift amongst the board. There has been a lot of disagreements recently about how to run the club going forward. So I think they would be willing to sell for less than they would previously.”
As things stand, it seems as though we are stuck with the three amigos. But at least there is potential for us to have new ownership in the not too distant future.
We have so much unrealised potential as a football club. And we really could hit the big time under genuinely ambitious new ownership.
It may be a long and drawn-out process, however. The good news is that one day we will have our football club back. Let’s keep the faith. West Ham will be around longer than David Sullivan and David Gold.
