The Hammers won the contest easily in the end, and they were far too good for Lee Bowyer’s Addicks for the most part.
David Moyes’s side looked so much better going forward. There was more cohesion in our play through the middle of the park and we looked far more threatening out wide – especially on the left.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international looked very good today linking up with Felipe Anderson down the left hand flank.
In fact, his presence at left-back seemed to make the Brazilian a much better player than he is when Cresswell is playing in behind him.
It will be absolutely criminal if Masuaku doesn’t start against Arsenal at the Emirates this weekend.
