ExWHUemployee has claimed that Queens Park Rangers left-back Ryan Manning is very unlikely to join West Ham as David Moyes doesn’t rate him.
In other news…Report: West Ham nearly made big money sale on deadline day but deal fell through
The Telegraph reported back in July that the Hammers wanted to bring the 24-year-old to the London Stadium.
And Claret and Hugh confirmed those claims, suggesting that Manning is indeed on West Ham’s radar.
But it now seems that perhaps that is actually not the case.
ExWHUemployee claims that David Moyes isn’t a fan of the QPR man, and it is very unlikely that he will join the Hammers:
Stats
Manning racked up four goals and seven assists in 41 Championship games for QPR last season (Who Scored). So he is clearly a very attacking left-back.
In those outings, the Irishman averaged two tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.7 clearances per game (Who Scored).
Manning can play at left-back or central midfield. And with West Ham’s need to strengthen both of those positions, a move to sign the 24-year-old would surely be a wise move from the east London outfit.
ExWHUemployee reckons that Moyes doesn’t rate the QPR ace, however. So this is probably one that won’t happen. Certainly while the Scot is still in charge at the London Stadium.
