According to ExWHUemployee, former West Ham player Junior Stanislas could be an option for David Moyes before next week’s deadline.
In other news…Report: West Ham target has been told he can leave
The 30-year-old spent three years with the Hammers before leaving for Burnley in 2011.
David Moyes sanctioned Felipe Anderson’s loan exit from the London Stadium on Tuesday.
And we are now looking incredibly weak in the left wing department.
The problem for Moyes is that he has limited funds with which to work with. And in truth, the Scot should be prioritising moves for a centre-back and a central midfielder.
Nevertheless, ExWHUemployee claimed that Bournemouth winger Junior Stanislas could be an option for West Ham before next Friday’s transfer deadline, when reeling off a list of potential targets on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday, October 7th):
“There are more on the list who are Will Salthouse players. Stanislas of Bournemouth, the ex-West Ham player could be available.”
Stats
Stanislas racked up three goals in three Premier League games for Bournemouth last season.
In those outings, the 30-year-old averaged 1.2 shots, 0.8 key passes and 0.7 dribbles per game (Who Scored).
Stanislas is certainly not an elite player, but he was always popular in east London. And perhaps if we can pick the Cherries winger up for a bargain fee, he could be a worthwhile addition for us for a couple of seasons. Albeit not an incredibly exciting or ambitious one.
