The West Ham fans were criticised by talkSPORT journalist Ian Abrahams this morning. Former Hammer Don Hutchison was having none of it though.

Abrahams, a supposed West Ham fan himself, suggested that David Moyes’s team have benefitted from not having fans inside the London Stadium this season.
He suggested that the toxic atmosphere created by ill-feeling towards the Hammers board would have had a negative impact on the players this season.
Abrahams has badly misjudged the situation here on so many levels.
Firstly, we always support the team NOT the regime. If the players give 100 per cent commitment, they are rewarded with fierce loyalty and support from the London Stadium faithful.

We are the best fans in the world. There is something special about being a West Ham fan. We can’t really explain it to to fans of other clubs, but we all know it’s true.
Abrahams delivering such a poorly judged verdict when speaking on talkSPORT was well below the belt.
It didn’t portray the Hammers fans in a very good light. And it was unfair to say the very least.
Here’s the recording of The Moose during his appearance on talkSPORT this morning:
Abrahams has completely forgotten about how much the West Ham fans can drive the team on under difficult circumstances.
Thankfully, former Hammer Don Hutchison pointed that out today…
Well done Don! You always were a fan favourite at Upton Park.
More West Ham players need to come out and kibosh Abraham’s claim. The talkSPORT journalist has been a divisive figure in the East End in the past.
We need to stick together more than ever now and prove what we’re all about.
