David Moyes opens up on Soucek and Coufal chat
The West Ham players will be relishing playing in Europe next season. And two players in particular are already very familiar with playing on the continent at the very highest level.
Moyes shared with reporters what Hammers stars Soucek and Coufal told him when they were leaving the pitch at the London Stadium yesterday afternoon:
“I was having a laugh coming off the pitch with the Czech boys saying ‘great we are going to be in Europe’ but they said ‘no we have been in it plenty of times we know where to go’, they were having fun.”
The arrival of Soucek last January and Coufal nine months later has helped totally transform West Ham as a football team.
Not only are they both exceptionally talented players but they also have a real winning mentality that has helped take us to a new level.
The former Slavia Prague players competed in both the Champions League and Europa League for many years before moving to West Ham.
The Czech International duo play with a die-for-the-cause mentality. They are both incredibly popular in East London.
And it seems as though they are relishing the prospect of playing in Europe with West Ham next season.
