The 28-year-old joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague in the summer transfer window for around £5.4 million (BBC).
And Coufal has already established himself as somewhat of a cult hero at the London Stadium.

The Czech Republic international earns around £27k-a-week at West Ham (WT Foot). That salary combined with his nominal transfer fee now looks like an absolute steal for the Hammers.
David Moyes a huge fan of West Ham ace Vladimir Coufal
The 28-year-old is a tenacious tackler, has bundles of energy and plays a key role for West Ham down the right-hand flank, both defensively and offensively.
David Moyes lifted the lid on one key factor behind the right-back’s incredible form since he moved to the London Stadium three-and-a-half months ago, when speaking to the Athletic:

“Coufal’s performances have been excellent. I couldn’t keep him off the training pitch yesterday (the day after the Villa game). I wanted them to have a rest and just stay in but he’s on a different level. He’s a great boy; someone who has no ego, wants to go about the job, wants to train, wants to play and sees every game as a real privilege and pleasure to play in.”
The West Ham fans absolutely love Coufal.
The 28-year-old works so incredibly hard but aside from that he is an unbelievable player as well.
We are incredibly lucky to have the Czech Republic international. Let’s just hope that Coufal keeps up his fine form between now and the end of the season. And if he does exactly that, West Ham will have a great chance of finishing inside the top six this term.
