The 26-year-old joined the Hammers on an initial loan deal from Brentford in October last year.
His move was then made permanent in January.
Benrahma made a slow start to life at the London Stadium, despite showing the odd flash of brilliance.

Moyes eased the Algeria international slowly into life in the Premier League. The Scot got plenty of criticism for his management of Benrahma at the time.
It seems to be paying of now, however.
David Moyes praises Said Benrahma
The 26-year-old was in scintillating form for the Hammers during pre-season. He scored a couple of superb goals and laid some assists on for his teammates as well.
Moyes suggested that he has been impressed by Benrahma when speaking to reporters today, as quoted by Football.London:

“He missed a little bit of pre-season this year because he had games with Algeria so he was given a bit longer off but he has come back and looked sharp and is in good condition. Not everybody hits the ground running in the Premier League and maybe he just needed a little bit of time to sit back, look at it and reconsider what we need him to do and for him to make the most of it. Scoring and playing in pre-season is great but now the big games start so let’s see how he does now.”
The West Ham fans are expecting big things from Benny this season.
The 26-year-old has the kind of ability that will make the Hammers fans quickly forget about Jesse Lingard.
Benrahma should be targeting 10 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League this season. He really is that good.
Moyes seems ready to give him an extended run in the team now.
