Hammers boss David Moyes has lifted the lid on what West Ham United’s owners have told him about his future after claims from The Telegraph.
It was reported last week that Moyes could have just five games to save his job, starting with that huge match against fellow strugglers Wolves.
Telegraph journalist Matt Law claimed Moyes is skating on thin ice and must oversee a sharp upturn in West Ham’s results to avoid the Hammers axe.
West Ham managed to secure a morale -boosting 2-0 win which, ironically, cost Bruno Lage his job at Wolves.

David Moyes lifts the lid on what West Ham owners have told him about future after Telegraph claims
Attentions now turn to West Ham’s European clash with Anderlecht before a home game against Fulham on Sunday.
Ahead of those games the Scot was asked about that speculation and apparent pressure on his position.
And Moyes lifted the lid on what the West Ham owners have told him about his future after the claims from The Telegraph.
“I was extremely relieved to get that result against Wolves at the weekend,” Moyes said in his pre-Anderlecht presser (whufc.com).
“You look at what happened to the manager at Wolves, which was very unfortunate. I’m not saying there’s no difference between my position at West Ham compared to his at Wolves, but certainly our league positions weren’t much different.
“Behind (the scenes at) our club I’ve had great support from the owners and everybody behind it.
“So we think that we’re building something (for the future), trying something and trying to make West Ham a consistent team in the Premier League.
“That isn’t an easy thing to do, but we’re trying to make a good fist of it.”

Moyes’ comments suggest he is not under the kind of pressure reported by The Telegraph.
The Hammers boss will not be going anywhere anytime soon. But he will also be well aware one swallow a summer does not make and West Ham must build on that Wolves win.
That means stringing together a run of good results but also rediscovering a level of performance which made West Ham such an exciting team to watch in recent seasons.
