West Ham United boss David Moyes has lifted the lid on a potential reason for the jaded performance in the draw with Crystal Palace.
Insider claims Liverpool now want West Ham star and lifts lid on Moyes stance
West Ham have enjoyed their best start to a season for five years.
In fact last night’s draw with Palace means Moyes’s side are equal with the efforts of the 2015/16 Farewell Boleyn campaign with 21 points from 13 games.

Haller goal the highlight of a lacklustre West Ham team performance
Haller’s breathtaking equaliser was the highlight.
But West Ham were not as sharp or dangerous going forward as they have been, particularly in a lacklustre first half and after Palace went down to 10 men.
Having played Leeds on Friday, West Ham would have had an extra couple of days of rest over Palace, who played Spurs on Sunday.
Moyes revealed after the 1-1 draw, though, that the Hammers endured a nightmare trip home from Elland Road which he attributed to the lethargic performance (whufc.com).

Moyes reveals nightmare return trip from Leeds behind jaded display
“Didn’t play well tonight,” an honest Moyes conceded after the game (whufc.com).
“We looked a bit flat all round, maybe because when we played Leeds, as people might (not) know we didn’t get the flight back.
“We had to drive back because of the fog and just maybe a lot of those things caught up with us.
“It’s no excuse for the performance, (but) maybe it’s a part of a reason for it.”

Hammers have five-day break but must up their game for wounded animal Chelsea
West Ham do now at least have a decent five-day break before facing Chelsea next Monday night.
The Hammers have a great recent record against Chelsea.
But Frank Lampard’s side will be a wounded animal, going into the game off the back of two consecutive defeats.
So West Ham must be on the guard.
Although Moyes and his side will take heart from not too distant memories of beating Chelsea 3-2 at the London Stadium towards the end of last season as they took a big step towards securing Premier League safety.
