David Moyes fires back cheeky response to Manchester United question when speaking to reporters yesterday afternoon, as quoted by Sky Sports.

The Hammers welcome the Red Devils to the London Stadium tomorrow for what should be a brilliant game of football.

West Ham have made a fine start to the season and so have Manchester United.

Both teams are unbeaten. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side currently sit top of the pile, but a win for the Hammers tomorrow would see us leapfrog the Red Devils.

It really should be an intriguing encounter.

Man United are in fine form. With the likes of Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes all in fine form, the Hammers players will have their work cut-out.

Solskjaer’s side should be wary of us as well, however.

Moyes spoke to reporters yesterday and responded when a journalist suggested that this is not a good time to play Manchester United:

“I don’t know if it’s a good time to play West Ham.”

Moyes is spot on. There is not one team in world football that would relish playing against us now.

And what a refreshing change that is for the West Ham fans. Moyes deserves so much credit for the miracles that he has performed since returning to the London Stadium.

Long may that continue.

Sunday’s clash against Manchester United will be the acid test, however. The thing is, that could very well be the case for Man United as well…
