Chris Sutton has praised Said Benrahma after the West Ham ace scored a wonder goal against Brentford this afternoon.
The 25-year-old winger showed what he is capable of against the Bees today.
He produced a magical bit of skill in the first-half, nutmegging Brentford player Vitaly Janelt in the 25th minute.
Benrahma then produced another bit of magic midway through the second-half.
The silky Algerian skinned a Brentford defender before dispatching a ferocious strike into the top right hand corner. Let’s hope more of that is in store during the Premier league season ahead.
Chris Sutton says West Ham ace has given David Moyes food for thought
The BT Sport pundit was impressed by the 25-year-old winger this afternoon.
Sutton suggested that Benny’s display has now given David Moyes a tough decision to make ahead of the new campaign, when speaking on BT Sport (Saturday July 31st, 16:51):
“It deserves applause, a wonderful strike from Benrahma. He hasn’t hit the heights just yet. Having said that, it’s a brilliant strike, no chance for the goalkeeper. Food for thought for David Moyes.”
Benrahma was far from a regular starter for West Ham last season.
Hopefully that will change this term, however. The 25-year-old certainly seems ready to make a big impact in the Premier League.

Surely David Moyes would have been impressed by Benrahma today. This season may well be the Algerian’s time. It’s time to step up and be counted Said.
