West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has made no secret of his ambition to finish in the top six.

With Manchester United enduring a difficult season West Ham are just one win off replacing them in sixth place.

That comes after a four-game winning streak from the rejuvenated Hammers.

Pellegrini’s side can make it five in a row if they beat Watford on Saturday.

Doing so would equal a 12-year-old record.

Team spirit bubbling at happy Hammers

In-fighting has derailed Manchester United’s season and cost Jose Mourinho his job.

But at West Ham, Pellegrini’s pursuit of success is being aided by an ever-growing team spirit.

The examples are many in recent weeks alone.

Whether it is star players deflecting praise to instead highlight the work of reborn teammate Robert Snodgrass.

Top six is within Pellegrini’s reach

There are so many examples showing West Ham are a happy squad under Pellegrini.

That includes players falling over themselves to praise the Chilean. What Mourinho would have done for similar backing at Old Trafford?

The top six is within West Ham’s reach this season and the Hammers should give it everything they have got to get there.
