West Ham ace Arthur Masuaku took to Twitter after last night’s defeat to Arsenal, suggesting that there are still reasons to be confident.

In truth, the Hammers deserved more than a 2-1 defeat. We should have taken at least a point away with us from the Emirates.
It could be argued that the main reason we didn’t was David Moyes’s inability to be proactive. The Scot is a reactionary manager.
And he should have made some changes to freshen things up when we were on top of Arsenal. But he didn’t, and the rest is history.
One player in particular who did make a difference last night was Arthur Masuaku.
The 26-year-old was brought in to play the left wing-back role. He wasn’t exceptional against the Gunners by any means, but he made a huge difference to the way in which we moved forward with the ball.
Masuaku surely did enough to start West Ham next game at the London Stadium against Wolves next weekend.

The Olympiacos man is right. There is a lot to be positive about after last night’s match. Let’s just hope that Moyes is a little smarter with his team selection next weekend.
