West Ham have been handed a big boost with Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan declaring that he wants to join Chelsea.
That’s because if Chelsea do indeed sign the 19-year-old midfielder, West Ham may then have a good chance of bringing Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the London Stadium from Stamford Bridge.
Loftus-Cheek has made 15 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season, but if Graham Potter brings Zakharyan to Stamford Bridge, the Englishman may well face a bleak future in west London.

And that’s something that West Ham should be looking to take advantage of…
Arsen Zakharyan makes Chelsea admission
The Blues were really close to signing the teenager in August according to the likes of Football.London.
And the Russia international’s latest comments will undoubtedly pique the interest of the powers that be at Stamford Bridge…
Zakharyan told Sport24 about when he first heard about Chelsea’s interest in signing him:
I immediately said that I wanted to go. I do not dismiss the option of returning [to Dynamo] on loan but at least I would try myself [at Chelsea], then I’ll be back. Maybe it would be possible to start playing there right away.
He has been described as a ‘brilliant wonderkid’ by Football.London.
And if he moves to Chelsea, Loftus-Cheek may be looking for an exit. That’s where West Ham come in.

I would love to see the 26-year-old Blues ace at the London Stadium.
The Lewisham-born midfielder has all of the qualities needed to be a dominating figure in the Premier League.
Loftus-Cheek is incredibly technically gifted and has the ability to physically dominate opponents what with his 6ft 3in frame.
The 26-year-old has pace and power in abundance. He is very versatile as well and knows where the back of the net is.
Back in the 2018/19 season, the midfielder bagged 10 goals and five assists in 35 games for Chelsea (Transfermarkt).
His power, pace and technical ability when in possession would take the Hammers to another level in the second half of the season.
We think that West Ham signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be a real statement in January. Let’s hope that it happens.
Should Chelsea sign Arsen Zakharyan, West Ham’s chances of bringing in RLC will increase ten-fold in my opinion.
