But the West Ham talisman is also becoming a universally loved character too.

Rice always has a smile on his face and is a hugely popular figure with West Ham and England.

He grabbed headlines last season when he sang his ‘Rice, Rice, Baby’ take on the Vanilla Ice classic ‘Ice, Ice, Baby’ in a Twitter karaoke craze.

Fans and pundits, including huge Rice fan Jamie Carragher, lapped it up.

The Hammers hero was widely praised for being down to earth and not another aloof football factory robot like so many of his colleagues.

Well now West Ham’s main man has taken things up a notch with an appearance on Sky TV show A League Of Their Own.

Rice was supported by former England stars Micah Richards and Jamie Redknapp as he absolutely smashed his Vanilla Rice performance on ALOTO.

Fans of all clubs, not just West Ham, have been loving the footage of humble Rice having the time of his life.

West Ham fan Harris-Prince actually came up with the Rice, Rice, Baby adaptation when the midfield enforcer first broke into the Hammers team.

Shaking a bag of Rice as he filmed it for social media, the West Ham fan even performed it on BT Sport.

The fact Rice has taken it on with no airs and graces shows just why he is so loved by West Ham and England fans.

He even donned sunglasses similar to those worn by Vanilla Ice in his classic Ice, Ice, Baby video. And to top it off Rice does a mic drop at the end to rapturous applause.
