The Hammers thoroughly deserved our 1-0 win against fierce rivals Spurs yesterday afternoon.
David Moyes would have been delighted with the manner in which his West Ham side kept Tottenham in check.

Nuno Espirito Santo, meanwhile, will be incredibly frustrated that his attacking players barely got a sniff.
West Ham are a proper team now.
Last season clearly wasn’t a flash in the pan. And there is not one single team in the Premier League who will relish playing against us.

One of Spurs’ most famous fans took to Twitter in reaction to his side’s defeat in East London yesterday.

Lord Alan Sugar was clearly not happy with Harry Kane but admirably, he admitted that West Ham were the better team:
Unlike Nuno, Sugar admitted that the better team won the game.
Anyone watching the match would agree…apart from the Tottenham boss of course…sigh.
West Ham were organised, well-drilled and looked the fitter of the two teams, despite the fact that Nuno rested all 11 players for their mid-week European clash!
Tottenham were bereft of ideas and didn’t actually look like scoring.

A great win for the Hammers. Meanwhile, the inquisition will start at Spurs this morning after yesterday’s display.
