West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to David Moyes highlighting just how difficult the January transfer window can be at times.
The Hammers are currently flying high in fourth spot in the Premier League table. We are also safely through to the last 16 of the Europa League.

With Tottenham and Arsenal now not playing tomorrow, we have a real chance to stretch our lead in the race for the Champions League places when we welcome Leeds United to the London Stadium.
West Ham have a genuine chance of achieving something very special this season, both domestically and on the continent.
In order to do just that though, David Sullivan, Daniel Kretinsky and David Gold absolutely must back Moyes to the hilt in the transfer market.
It seems as though the owners are ready to act but the problem could well be signing the players who Moyes actually wants.
That’s what the Scot alluded to when speaking to reporters yesterday, as quoted by the Evening Standard:
“I think sometimes you need things to come, [they] take a bit of time. We’re asking about players and other clubs that are trying to get them are asking about players and it is taking a bit of time for things, the domino affect to really happen. We’ve made some offers behind the scenes for players, we’ve tried to look at situations so it’s not as if we’re not doing it at the moment. You just need to look around football and see that there’s not a lot of deals happening. The general feeling is that it is a bit tougher for whatever reason. I’m hopeful we can pull something off. I’d like to bring new faces in, we’ll try and do it but the ones we’re looking at are either not available or we can’t get. We’ll keep trying.”
We all know that the January transfer window is a hard one to do business in.
And nobody actually knows the truth.
Is Moyes being too cautious? Or are the West Ham owners not willing to pay the fees required for the players the Scot actually wants to sign?
Whatever the reason actually is, there can be no excuses this month. If West Ham are to kick on, Moyes needs to sign a minimum of two new players before the January transfer window slams shut.
Whether that will actually happen though, remains to be seen.

All we will say is that let’s all judge Moyes and the owners when the window has closed.
The West Ham owners proved in the summer that they are prepared to get the right business done very late on in the window.
