Aaron Cresswell lauded by West Ham fans as he approaches milestone

Aaron Cresswell is set to kick off his eighth campaign with West Ham United.

Some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter to praise the 31-year-old for the excellent service he has given the club.

The left-back arrived at Upton Park from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2014 for around £4 million (Mirror).

He proved to be an instant hit at the Boleyn and now he is a really popular figure at the London Stadium.

Cresswell is one of David Moyes’s most trusted on-field Lieutenants.

The 31-year-old may not have the pace that he once did, but he still has a huge role to play for West Ham. Especially with the quality that he possesses from set-pieces.

The left-back still has two years left to run on his contract at the London Stadium.

He will have a crucial role to play for the Hammers next season. His experience will be absolutely vital with so many talented young players coming through the ranks in East London.

The 31-year-old improved so much last season.
