Michail Antonio has made a habit of breaking records during his time at West Ham United and he’s only too aware.
David Moyes seeking sit down meeting with four key West Ham legends
Mark Noble is West Ham’s homegrown captain nearing the end of his playing days.
The penalty king holds the record as the Premier League’s best spot-kick taker.
In fact Noble is rather astonishingly the second best spot-kick taker in world football of the last 20 years – read full story here.
He is also West Ham’s record Premier League appearance holder.
Antonio is the man of firsts. Scoring in the last game at Upton Park and the first Premier League game at the London Stadium are just two examples.

Noble and Antonio the West Ham record makers
Scoring the only goal as West Ham became the first team to win at Tottenham’s shiny new stadium.
Scoring West Ham’s first hat-trick for many years.
The first West Ham player to score four goals in a Premier League match.
And this season Antonio, who manager David Moyes has confirmed will continue as a striker, is vying with his skipper Noble to become West Ham’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorer.
The great Paolo Di Canio retains that honour at the moment with 47 glorious strikes.

Hammers duo gunning for Di Canio record this season
Mark Noble is one behind him on 46. A couple of penalties this season and – with his success ratio – the captain should climb above Di Canio.
Antonio will be looking to be hot on his heels though.
The powerful forward finished last season in fine form winning July’s player of the month award.
Antonio’s 10 Premier League goals for West Ham last season put him on 36.

Two great candidates for Hammers honour
If he can better that tally by just one goal this term – where he will play the whole season as a striker – he will equal the record.
Then it will be a race between him and Noble as to who can finish on the highest number of goals.
It seems only a matter of time until Antonio takes the honour, though, given his position.
And you won’t find many more popular than the hard-working star who has worked his way up from non-league to the top flight.
