RAI journalist Ciro Venerato has claimed that West Ham want to sign Napoli hitman Fernando Llorente this summer.

Hammers boss David Moyes clearly needs to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
The Scot currently has just Sebastien Haller and Xande Silva as his only centre-forward options.
Albian Ajeti and Jordan Hugill have both been sold and West Ham now seem to be very light up front.
RAI journalist Ciro Venerato has suggested that the Hammers could target a move for Napoli striker Fernando Llorente.
West Ham could face competition from Everton for the former Tottenham man’s signature, however.
The Italian was speaking to Kiss Kiss Napoli and his words were relayed by Area Napoli:
“Carlo Ancelotti, the Everton manager, after securing the Allan affair with Napoli, wants another player in Gennaro Gattuso’s team. I’m referring to Fernando Llorente. As well as Everton, West Ham are on the trail of Llorente”.
The 35-year-old has experience of playing in England having spent two years with Tottenham, although the Spaniard didn’t really establish himself in north London.
He has a decent career record, however, with 177 goals in 582 games (Transfermarkt).
It could be argued that Llorente is on the decline. He has scored just four goals in 24 games for Napoli since moving to the Serie A side last summer (Transfermarkt).
The 6ft 3in hitman’s current deal is due to expire next summer. So he may just be available for a bargain fee. And that is clearly what has alerted West Ham.
Perhaps there is a case to be made for Llorente being a decent short term signing for us. But if we are being brutally honest, we shouldn’t be going anywhere near the ageing Spaniard this summer.
