You won’t believe what Man United are doing to try and offload outcast Harry Maguire to West Ham and any other interested parties.
They say there is no smoke without fire and West Ham are being incessantly linked with a move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
Earlier this month it was claimed a deal between West Ham and Man United could be on the cards for Maguire to ease FFP concerns at Old Trafford.
The same report claimed West Ham’s interest in the England centre-back was genuine back in January.
In the end it proved fruitless. But it has laid the foundation of interest from West Ham ahead of an expected renewed attempt to sign the 30-year-old from the Red Devils this summer.

With Craig Dawson sold to Wolves, Angelo Ogbonna in the twilight of his Hammers career and both Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd unreliable due to injuries, it is easy to see why David Moyes wants Maguire.
Manchester Evening News have also reported on West Ham’s interest in Maguire, who has started just eight Premier League games for Man United this season. Even Luke Shaw has been preferred to Maguire at centre-back.
There was a huge boost for West Ham this week when Man United boss Erik ten Hag made the Maguire situation crystal clear.
According to a new report from ESPN, Manchester United are ‘anticipating’ a move from West Ham for Maguire when the window opens for domestic deals on June 14th.
And you won’t believe what Man United are doing to try and offload outcast Maguire to West Ham and other interested parties.
The Daily Mail claims Man United are offering to pay Maguire £10 MILLION to leave with the likes of West Ham circling.

Pay off would also help lower Maguire salary demands more in line with what Hammers could offer
Nothing quite says ‘please join West Ham’ like a £10m sweetener does it?
“Maguire cost £80m from Leicester in 2019 but is now valued at closer to £30m due to his age and the fact he is two-thirds of the way through a six-year contract,” The Mail reports.
“Maguire has another two years left on the £190,000-a-week deal, and it’s anticipated that he would earn only half that amount at a new club – leaving United to foot a £10m wage bill to get him off their books.”
That pay off could work massively in West Ham’s favour.
Because it would effectively lower Maguire’s wage demands more in line with the kind of salaries the Hammers pay.
Brazilian star Lucas Paqueta is currently West Ham’s highest paid player ever on £150,000 per week.
Maguire may have struggled at Manchester United but make no mistake he would be an excellent signing for West Ham.
The England first choice centre-back would add even more potency to West Ham’s set-piece threat.
And he would also immediately be a candidate to captain the side when Declan Rice departs.
