The 32-year-old centre-back left the London Stadium to link up with the Bees on loan on transfer deadline day in January.
Reid is under contract with the Hammers until the summer of 2023.
The 25-capped New Zealand international joined West Ham from FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2010 for around £5 million (Eurosport).

It appears as though his time in East London could be drawing to a close, however.
Winston Reid to leave West Ham for Brentford?
The experienced Kiwi could be set to swap East London for West London.
That’s according to well-informed club insider ExWHUemployee who claims that Brentford will look to secure a permanent deal for Reid after their promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.

As good as the 32-year-old has been for West Ham, now is probably the right time for player and club to go their separate ways.
Make no mistake, however, Reid would be a great signing for Brentford.
The centre-back earns around £65k-a-week at the London Stadium (Football League FC).
So it will be great for Hammers boss David Moyes to get those wages of the books ahead of what will likely be a very busy transfer window.

If Reid does leave, we wish him all the best. He has been a great servant for West Ham.
And we’re sure he will enjoy a successful career at Brentford. If that is indeed where he ends up.
