For West Ham United this has been a nightmarish week in the transfer window.
After leading the Hammers to their best ever Premier League points total and securing Europa League group stage football for the first time, David Moyes needs reinforcements and has earned the right to be backed.
Some West Ham fans believed the club would act fast in this window to bring in players in key positions.
Particularly in terms of signing a striker after Moyes elected to bank the money from selling Sebastien Haller back in January.
Youngsters Thierry Nevers, Armstrong Okoflex and Pierre Ekwah Elimby have joined the academy.

Likes of Villa and Norwich are the exception to the rule in transfer window so far
But so far West Ham – like most clubs – have not brought any players in for the first team.
The likes of Aston Villa and Norwich are exceptions rather than the rule right now having made some impressive signings.
There is no escaping the fact, though, that it has been a tough week to take for West Ham as clubs start slowly but surely making moves.
Then there was talk that Juventus could move in on West Ham target Nikola Milenkovic (Juve FC).

No hiding the fact it has been a nightmare week in the transfer window for West Ham based on reported targets
Next, West Ham’s other priority signing Jesse Lingard was reportedly offered a new three-year deal on more money by Manchester United and is likely to sign (talkSPORT).
One of Moyes’s longstanding targets, Barcelona outcast Junior Firpo, had seemingly been edging closer to a move to West Ham.
But it emerged yesterday he has chosen to move to Leeds instead.
One player West Ham were really excited at he prospect of signing was the heavily linked Patson Daka.
But the rapid forward is set to sign for West Ham’s fellow Europa League qualifiers Leicester (Sky Sports). It is the second signing in less than a year that Leicester have beaten West Ham to after landing brilliant defender Wesley Fofana in the delayed summer window last year.
Wolves have moved in on two big West Ham targets, defender James Tarkowski and striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
But there was bad news for the Hammers boss and the section of West Ham fans who actually wanted Arnautovic to return after it was confirmed he is set to join Bologna (Football Italia).

No need to panic yet with diligent Moyes overseeing transfers
Despite all that West Ham fans should not panic just yet.
There are 63 days left until the transfer window closes. That’s nine whole weeks.
And most clubs won’t be making moves until the Euros are over and players start reporting back for pre-season training.
Moyes is very diligent in the transfer market and takes his time to get the right players.
It has served West Ham well since his return to the club so fans must trust the Scot to get the business done.
After all he would not have signed a new three-year deal if the club was not going to back him in the transfer window.
